Hillel Aron was born and raised in Los Angeles California. He has been a journalist since 2009. As a freelancer, his work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Magazine, and Reuters. Previously, he was a staff writer at LA Weekly. While there, he was thrice nominated for the LA Press Club's "Journalist of the Year" award.
